Chloroquine Phosphate Tablets - 250mg

For the prophylaxis of malaria in areas of the world where the risk of chloroquine -resistant falciparum malaria is still low. It is also used in combination with proguanil when chloroquine resistant falciparum malaria is present, however this regiment may not give optimal protection. Chloroquine is NOT recommended for the treatment of malaria due to widespread resistance. Seek up to date guidance for individual country recommendations and preferred prophylaxis regimen. Tablets contain 155mg chloroquine base
