Haemolance Blood Lancets - Violet - Max Flow

"The Haemolance® safety lancets are used by healthcare professionals to obtain capillary blood samples. The samples are frequently used for monitoring blood glucose levels but may also be used for other in vitro diagnostic tests requiring capillary blood.

The lancet has a built-in needle protection system. The needle retracts automatically after use so the patient never actually sees the lancet during use. This system helps protect patients and health care professionals from accidental punctures before and after use, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.

The Micro Flow is ideal for diagnostic testing requiring a sample less than four microliters of blood. The penetration depth is 1.6 mm with a 0, 4 mm 28-gauge needle. Typical test include blood glucose.
