The VEID™ Adaptor consists of a pressure sensor, a signal processor and a signal indicator combined into a pocket-sized, lightweight unit that attaches to the proximal end of any standard IV cannula via the disposable VEID™ Adapter.

The pressure sensor reacts to pressure changes at the tip of the cannula.
Far outperforming the conventional visual indication of blood rising in the chamber, the processor immediately (within 0.1 sec.) activates a beeping signal upon entering the vein.
